It felt like both, honestly. Kae hadn't really wanted to meet any more of the Redford. She just wanted to figure out what angle he was playing and what exactly he wanted from her.
But for now she was just happy for the intervention. Hopefully she hadn't given anything away.

For once she felt relieved to see Richie show up.
Kae gave him a slight wave as he came in, then went back to looking at the screen and listening.

After a few seconds Kae pretended to busy herself by looking over the day's bookings in the shop's scheduling system.
She hoped this wasn't going to be a frequent thing.

"I dunno, considering the number if idiot kids that kill themselves for likes on social media I think I'd rather not know," he rolled his eyes - though the helmet hid it.

"Yeah, no shit," he chuckled in agreement, "at least we get to leave this job at the door."

The senior officer gave her a nod and assured them his people had it from there.
"Not thinking about switching into detective work, are you?" Seth teased as they returned to their bikes.

"Preferably the other way."

"I'm not planning on running then either."

Kae didn't really know what to think of Richie if she were being honest.
"He seems like a good guy," she answered.

"Nope. Everything went smooth," he answered with a smirk.

Seth had little trouble rousting the remaining girls from where they were hiding. He zip tied their hands behind their back and then started filing them out the front of the house, announcing himself before sending them out.
"There's one around the back that needs medical," he informed one of the officers.

She shook her head at the first part, "Just recreational. Parties and stuff..."

"I just... had a little bit of dope on me," she answered. It was a partial truth.

"You think that hurts," Seth scoffed, letting his weight up off the bat.
He left the gangster lying on the floor, moving to sweep the building now that things had quieted down.

"I ah... met him ducking the cops," she admitted.

Kae couldn't help but think twenty minutes was more than enough time for this woman to eat her alive.
She realized she should have asked Richie quite a few questions before she'd started this job.

"Really? Cause if I go up there and someone shoots at me we're gonna do this for real when I get back."

"Anything up there you want to tell me about?" he asked, leaning a little more weight in.

God, damn it, Kae thought as the tall blond woman turned toward her.
"Kaella," she supplied.

"I mean we can do that," he countered, placing the end of the bat just above the guys crack and leaning his weight over the handle, "not really my go to form of interrogation but I guess you should get a say."

It wasn't really a surrender, but the guy wasn't in any condition to resist. Fortunately for the gangster, Seth wasn't wanton with his power. He kicked the guy over and cuffed his hands, "Faster I clear this place faster you get help," he grunted as he finished, kneeling beside him, "there anyone else in here?"

Kae glanced at Chuck and flashed a brief smile. She was definitely looking forward to watching the woman leave.

Seth ducked the first swing, then caught the younger man's arm on the next attempt. He disarmed him in short order, using the bat to hit the side of the man's knee and put him on the ground, "You done or are you gonna make me kill you?"
