Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 3, 2021 God, damn it, Kae thought as the tall blond woman turned toward her. "Kaella," she supplied. @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 3, 2021 "I'll spend some time with Kaella then," Violet said giving Charlotte a smile. Charlotte nodded. "Twenty minutes," she said to the other woman before she started her way back into the bay. @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 3, 2021 Kae couldn't help but think twenty minutes was more than enough time for this woman to eat her alive. She realized she should have asked Richie quite a few questions before she'd started this job. @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 3, 2021 Violet looked to the girl. "You said you've known my son for a few months. How did you meet?" @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 3, 2021 "I ah... met him ducking the cops," she admitted. @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 3, 2021 "Interesting. What exactly had you been doing to need to do such a thing?" she asked curiously. @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 3, 2021 "I just... had a little bit of dope on me," she answered. It was a partial truth. @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 3, 2021 "So you deal or your take them?" @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 3, 2021 She shook her head at the first part, "Just recreational. Parties and stuff..." @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 4, 2021 Violet hummed thoughtfully. "And... what do you think of my son?" @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 4, 2021 Kae didn't really know what to think of Richie if she were being honest. "He seems like a good guy," she answered. @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 5, 2021 Violet narrowed her eyes curiously. "Hmph," she said as she glanced away from her. @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 5, 2021 After a few seconds Kae pretended to busy herself by looking over the day's bookings in the shop's scheduling system. She hoped this wasn't going to be a frequent thing. @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 5, 2021 Richie showed up almost as Kae was trying to hyper focus on work. "Hey mom," he said as he came in through the bay door. "I see you met Kae." "I did...." she frowned at her son. "Don't give me that shit mom." @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 5, 2021 For once she felt relieved to see Richie show up. Kae gave him a slight wave as he came in, then went back to looking at the screen and listening. @Morrigan
Violet Selvaggio-Redford Share Posted January 5, 2021 Violet rolled her eyes as she smiled at her son and gave him a hug. "I just didn't expect someone new to be here today but I'm glad you got Chuck some help." Richie gave his mom a hug. "Yeah well when Chuck told me you were picking up Cherry I figured you'd be interrogating her." "I'm, not, interrogating. Intimidating a little, maybe," she smiled to him. "But I brought cookies." "Mom, you always bring cookies." "Well when you don't," she glanced over to Kaella, " tell me about things I stress bake." @Dragon
Kaella Corvus Author Share Posted January 5, 2021 It felt like both, honestly. Kae hadn't really wanted to meet any more of the Redford. She just wanted to figure out what angle he was playing and what exactly he wanted from her. But for now she was just happy for the intervention. Hopefully she hadn't given anything away. @Morrigan
