Richie nearly wanted a bigger argument. "Fine," he said. "First room on the right."

After everything her pride was too battered to put up anymore resistance. Kae just kicked her shoes back off her sore feet and picked them up before retreating through the door indicted.

Richie walked back down the hall and paused in front of the door. He considered not saying anything and saying something before he finally just went back into his room and then left the apartment to go down the the gym as he had originally said he was going to do.

Initially she just sat awkwardly on the edge of the bed for a while after it went quiet outside the door. After a few more minutes passed she went into the attached bathroom and stripped down. 

She stayed under the water for a good twenty minutes or so before finally stepping out. Kae hung her dress up over the curtain rail, then wrapped herself in a fresh towel before crawling into the bed and curling up.

Richie came back an hour or so later and went to take a shower himself. He didn't bother Kae but it was his day off so he went to watch a movie in his living room.

She slept the first few hours as her body continued to recover from the drug. When she finally woke her mouth and throat were parched. She eventually got up to use the bathroom, washing her hands and face on the way out and swishing some of the water around her mouth to moisten it before she returned to the bed for lack of knowing what else to do with herself.
