"Just tell me who wanted it. I'll protect you." @Dragon
-
Richie smirked and put a finger up turning to go to his tool caddy in the shop and returned with the box. He set it down in front of her and picked up a flashlight from his desk. He switched it to the UV wavelength before he moved it over the box stopping when his families crest came up as if stamped on the box. "Since you apparently want to be more involved than you need to be. This was something for my family." @Dragon
-
"Because I was trying to keep you out of a ditch. If I know who to talk to I know who to trade with but if you don't care then neither do I. You can leave I've got some judges showing up soon anyways." @Dragon
-
Richie pressed his lips together. "There are very few 'theys' that I have to poke to figure it out myself." @Dragon
-
"Except when you end up dead on the side of the street?" @Dragon
-
“Because you got me involved by choosing that door instead of any other one. Had you known which shops door you were picking you would have chosen a different one.” @Dragon
-
“You wouldn’t owe me anything,” he said. “The person that wants your package is more important to me than a few grand.” @Dragon
-
“What if I put a roof over your head for the winter if you tell me?” @Dragon
-
Richie frowned. She was loyal, he’d give her that. Smart too. “I’m asking because I’m not sure you know what you stole and depending on who wants it could depend on who I want to deal with your problem.” @Dragon
-
“For you to tell me who these people are? How else do you want me to say it?” @Dragon
-
“Look, if you don't want to tell me that’s fine. I plan to have some judges pick it up tonight anyways,” he said. “But for fucks sake stop trying to come onto me. I’ve got a girlfriend and it’s just fucking weird kid. I’m not interested in fucking a fifteen year old.” @Dragon
-
“Jesus fucking Christ,” Richie muttered reaching up to rub the bridge of his nose. “I’d prefer that you just tell me who you’re working for.” @Dragon
-
“You’re a fucking child.” @Dragon
-
Richie couldn’t help the bark of laughter that escaped him. “Me?” @Dragon
-
“Pretty sure you don’t know who you’re threatening.” @Dragon
-
“Pretty sure it has to do with me because you ended up in my shop.” @Dragon
-
“You’re back here aren’t you? I figure it matters to you.” @Dragon
-
Richie just shrugged. He didn't care what she thought of him. "So who is the package for?" @Dragon
-
"Some of them, sure," he agreed with a shrug. @Dragon
-
"Whether I do or don't. I have more cop friends than you do." @Dragon
-
Richie couldn't help the smile that crossed his face. "'Cording to the cops you stole it first." @Dragon
-
"So you gonna tell me the truth?" he asked her. "No one breaks into a Redford place. Especially not twice when they walked away the first time." @Dragon
-
"Probably not wrong," he responded to her. "Not quite the nicest person yourself though," he said. "Take a seat." @Dragon
-
Richie caught her around the waist and threw her back into the small room, against the chair that was near his desk. "Figured you might come back for your box," he said to her, his other hand finally dropping from his face. @Dragon
-
Her first attempt hit his shoulder, the second one his cheek as he gave her a strong tug and threw her on the floor. He reached up to rub his cheekbone with the heel of his palm. "Fuck that hurt," he said as he towered over her. @Dragon
